Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Agilent

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and the Government does not intend to post a competitive solicitation for this requirement. Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail, and convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. All capability statements received by the due date of this notice will be considered by the Government.

Department of Commerce, NOAA Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), Western Acquisition Division and Southwest Fisheries Science Center (SWFSC), Fisheries Resources Division (FRD) and Marine Mammal and Sea Turtle Division (MMTD) require a one-year service agreement to support an Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100. Services shall include the following:

Virtual tech support for hardware and software Same-day remote repair when possible Onsite repair visits including travel and labor costs Use of OEM parts for repairs Use of OEM consumable parts required for repairs Annual preventative maintenance using OEM parts The Government intends to award on a sole source basis in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) to:

See attached Justification for Sole Source A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responses and information received by the Government will be considered solely as market research for the purpose of making a final determination as to whether the need for a competitive procurement exists.
