Coast Guard Industry Academy (CGIA 3)

The US Coast Guard and Washington Homeland Security Roundtable launches the Third Cohort of The Coast Guard Industry Academy in collaboration with the U.S. Coast Guard. WHSR will host the Inaugural Session May, 2024 at Sector San Juan, PR. The Washington Homeland Security Roundtable (WHSR) announces the Third Cohort of the Coast Guard Industry Academy (CGIA3). The Coast Guard Industry Academy is an unprecedented, in-depth program designed to strengthen industry collaboration and knowledge of Coast Guard missions.

The program consists of quarterly sessions over a one-year period, which include sessions at selected Coast Guard facilities along the East and West Coasts, the Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean. The Coast Guard Industry Academy is intended for Senior Executives who maintain a broad organizational authority and responsibility who can share comprehensive industry knowledge with USCG and disseminate Coast Guard information fully across their organization.

The one-year program is organized such that USCG knowledge and understanding is built with each successive quarterly session; CGIA Cohort members are committing to full program participation. Each industry participant will pay travel costs and a pro-rata share of transportation and food on the ground.
