Notice of Intent to Sole Source IAW FAR 6.302-1 The mission of DEA's Diversion Control Division (DC) is to prevent, detect, and investigate the diversion of controlled pharmaceuticals and listed chemicals from legitimate sources while ensuring an adequate and uninterrupted supply for legitimate medical, commercial, and scientific needs. This requirement is to provide continuty of services to contract to 15DDHQ18D00000018 for IT services that support the DC’s mission.

The IT services required by DC are critical to ensuring Controlled Prescription Drug (CPD) and listed chemicals flow smoothly while protecting the system from security vulnerabilities. This requirement is for continuity of services while DEA procures a follow-on contract for IT services. This sole-source IT services contract will allow DEA to have continuity of services to maintain mission-critical operations and establish system redundancy until an award can be made with a follow-on contract.
