Notice to Single Source - Valve and Limitorque Electric Actuators

AFTC/PZI (Arnold) located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Chalmers & Kubeck, Inc./Valve & Actuation Services, LLC (UEI: E51UF29TEXN8) in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for the procurement of Valve and Limitorque Electric Actutators meeting the technical requirements specified in Attachment 1 - 36-Inch Valve-Electric Actuator Specifications and Attachment 2 - Steam Valve Actutator Specifications.

As stipulated at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), the authority to single source awards where only one source is reasonably available. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. The Government will consider all responses received electronically the the time specified in the annoucement. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement and the Government reserves the right to request additional information.

A determination by the Government to not compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
