Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Fire Training Simulation Maintenance

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. The Forest Service intends to award a sole source award to WRG Fire Training Simulations Systems Inc provide Maintenance and service to the already in place flame front simulator system (see attached J&A).

WRG Fire Training Simulation Systems Inc was the originator of the flame front system and built it to spec for the forestry at Vandenburg Air Force Base, as the OEM of the system they are found to be the only reasonable source to continue the support for flame front system.

Interested parties may identify their interests and capability to respond to this requirement by September 13th 2024 by 14:00 EST. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed award upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided.
