Construct Parallel Taxiway and Construct Airfield Upgrades, Kecskemet Air Base, Hungary

This is a special notice to provide details regarding the upcoming site visit for this procurement. It is anticipated that the final Request for Proposal and official solicitation documents will be available on sam.gov within the next few weeks. The pre-proposal site visit will take place during the week of March 18, 2024 (specific date/time TBD) and the offerors should meet at the front gate of Kecskemet Air Base, Hungary (GPS coordinates 46°54'30.8"N 19°45'10.2"E).

Individuals must submit a base access request for processing at least 14 days in advance, no later than close of business Monday, March 4, 2024. to Project Manager Richard Leroy, via email at richard.p.leroy@usace.army.mil and Contract Specialist Lorraine Laurente, lorraine.q.laurente@usace.army.mil. Offerors should limit the company’s participants to 2-3 people during the site visit. All attendees should arrive 30 minutes early and come prepared with a passport for identification. After entering the base, the base personnel will escort the participants into a bus which will drive us to the Airfield.
