Notification of Sole Source Procurement. In accordance with 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, the Government intends to limit sources to Sedgwick Business Interiors as the contractor to modify and supplement the existing office furniture on the top floor of Building 6 to provide adequate workspace for the construction admin team.

Though a contract will not be awarded directly to Sedgwick Business Interiors by the Government, they will become teh required provider for these furniture requirements., via Modification to the prime contractor. Sedgwick Business Interiors was previously contracted by the VA to provide all of the office furniture in the top floor of Building 6 for their use as athe VA Call Center.

The Medical Center no longer needs teh space as a call center and has made it available to the USACE and CFM construction admin teams for use while they oversee the ongoing construction on the Medical Center. The furniture needs to be reconfigured to better suit the needs of teh construction office. The office furniture previously supplied by Sedgwick is still under warranty and requires that the contractor modifying the existing furniture be Sedgwick or a Sedgwick authorized vendor to maintain the warranty.

All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which will be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 12:00 PM Eastern Time on 15 February 2024 to Michael.D.Hutchens@usace.army.mil. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
