Notice of Intent to Sole Source for Photo-Sonics P-1 Tracking Mount Repair

**SOLE SOURCE/NOTICE OF INTENT** The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA 93437, intends to solicit and award a sole source firm-fixed-price contract to PHOTO-SONICS INC. This action will be executed in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, and 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. See the attached redacted Sole Source Justification for additional details. The requirement is to provide the following:

- CLIN 0001: Photo-Sonics P-1 tracking mount parts. - CLIN 0002: Labor to repair Photo-Sonics P-1 tracking mount. This notice of intent is NOT a request for a quote or proposal. However, interested parties may submit a narrative describing their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill the requirement via email to mitchel.rinehart@spaceforce.mil with a copy to jeffrey.weeks.5@spaceforce.mil no later than 3 July 2024 at 2:30 PM Pacific Time.

Any costs incurred in submitting a capabilities statement will not be reimbursed by the Government. Additionally, the information received will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct the procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
