The Defense Health Agency (DHA) Healthcare Contracting Division (HCD-C) is issuing this notice of intent to award a new contract on a sole source basis. This is not a request for proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to pay for costs incurred from the preparation and/or submission of data in response to this notice. The Government intends to enter into a sole source, firm fixed price contract on the basis of other than full and open competition with Everon LLC, 9108 Guilford Rd.
Suite H, Columbia, MD 21046, for software maintenance, and system inspections for the Nurse Call System installed at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) at Fort Campbell, KY. The contractor will provide and install software upgrades, service packs and new software releases for the Ascom Telligence software and the Unite Reporting and Alert Engine Software. This requirement is for software updates and support for a Nurse Call System physically installed at the MTF.
The system is developed and proprietary to Ascom North America. Everon LLC is the only OEM authorized reseller of the of Ascom intellectual property. As a result, Everon is the only vendor who can provide these services. This contract will be issued on a sole source basis. The North American Classification System Code is 541511 – Custom Computer Programming Services. The Product and Service Code (PSC) is D319 - IT and Telecom Annual Software Maintenance and Service Plans.
Any sources that believe they are eligible and capable of providing this service must respond in writing within 5 days of this posting. Responses must be supported with clear and convincing evidence articulating the ability to provide the items outlined above. A request for documentation will not be considered an affirmative response. Information received will be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government.
If no written responses are received within 5 days of this posting, the contract will be awarded without further remark. This notice is provided solely as information to the marketplace.
