Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Tinker AFB, 10th Flight Test Squadron Operations Building

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Louisville District, has an upcoming requirement for the construction of a Squadron Operations Building at Tinker AFB.

Included in the requirement for the Squadron Operations Building is a brand-name sole source specification for the following elements: The keyed locks for all entryways are proposed for brand name sole source sourcing to BEST, in order to comply with the Tinker Design Guide requirements for a BEST 7-Pin L-Type keyway which allows for continuity repair and replacement across the entire installation. Included in this requirement is the BEST 1E-74 Mortise Cylinder Housing.

This is not a solicitation for competitive proposal; however, if any interested party believes that they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a capability statement to the point of contact listed in this Special Notice. All information furnished must be in writing and must contain sufficient detail to allow USACE to be able to determine if the interested party can perform the requirements described herein. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency. The submission must be received no later than 4:00 PM Easter Time (ET) on 22 February 2024.
