Notice of Intent to Sole Source: USCG Hangar Rental in Dutch Harbor, Alaska

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for the 12-month rental of hangar for USCG Airstation Kodiak in Dutch Harbor, Alaska to GUARDIAN FLIGHT LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, 10888 S 300 W, SOUTH JORDAN UT 84095, DUNS 080846902. The total estimated value is less than $129,000.00.

The proposed procurement is for service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, where delay of award would result in serious injury to the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
