ILWW Hypack Dredgepack Hardware Supply

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure all new hardware supplies, interfacing and calibration with existing system software, and on-site training for the new system with Xylem Inc., the parent company of HYPACK, a Division of PureHM U.S. located in Columbia, MD.

It will be a Fixed-price contract with a NAICS code of 334515 with size standard of 750. There is only one reasonably available service provider that can provide both the hardware, software, and training needed for ease of use, maintenance, and replacement. This is to ensure personnel and systems are up to date and mission ready on a single source basis in accordance with the statutory of 10 U.S.C.

2304(c)(l) as implemented by FAR 13.106-l(b)(l), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES and no solicitation will be issued; however, any small-business firm that believes it can meet the requirement may give written notification to the Contracting Officer. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement listed.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
