Notice of Intent to Sole Source NAVAIR METCAL Calibration Replacement Parts

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD intends to award a sole source contract to Thermometrics Corporation valued at approximately $262,575.00. Required items to replace broken assets in service are:

1) P/N R039-00000019 Probe Quantity: 99 To include the following:

a) -36-0-SP-0-SP b) 100 OHM PLT. 1/3 DIN 4 Wire c) SP=Fluke 2384-P Connector 2) P/N I050-00000010 Thermocouple Cal. Adaptor Quantity: 90 3) P/N I050-00000011 PRT Cal. Adaptor Quantity: 90 4) P/N I050-00000012 Thermistor Cal. Adaptor Quantity: 90 5) P/N I050-00000014 Alignment Cal. Adaptor Quantity: 90 6) P/N I050-00000017 Protective Padded Case Quantity: 90 To include:

a) Laser marked plate identifying product model 7) Certificate of Conformance Form QA-03-F2-1 Quantity: 6 This requirement will be made under Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.

If another contractor believes they can fulfill this requirement, then they should contact the contracting office and provide information demonstrating their ability to meet the Government's needs. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The anticipated award date is June 2024.
