The Architect of the Capitol (AOC), along with other Legislative Branch Procurement Offices, are hosting a Legislative Branch Industry Day on June 25, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to noon at the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, Congressional Auditorium. This event is for contractors interested in doing business with the Legislative branch and is open to any business.

If you are interested in attending, please register at https://aocfeedback.questionpro.com/industry-day-registration with the names of each attendee from your company (limit three per company). The deadline for registration is June 19, 2024, at 5:00 pm. Government regularly hosts “Industry Day” events in order to provide information on pending procurements, encourage competition, create a level playing field for all potential offerors, and educate offerors on procurement practices and policies.

The Architect of the Capitol is comprised of two acquisition divisions: Supplies, Services, and Material Management Division (SSMMD) and Design and Construction Acquisition Division (DCA).

Design and Construction Acquisition Division: The Design & Construction Acquisition Division are your business advisors for Architect/Engineering, Construction and Construction Management support services. Our Contracting Specialists assist with acquisition planning and formulation of contracts to help execute the AOC's mission in a timely fashion.

Supplies, Services Material Management Division: The Supplies, Services and Material Management Division provides focused business advice and contract support for all simplified acquisitions, to include supplies, services, construction, research and development, and commercial items equal to or less than $250,000 and all supplies and services greater than $250,000. Additionally, SSMMD administers the Purchase Card, Small Business, Personal Property, and Fleet Management programs for the AOC.
