AFN Antenna Maintenance Services 2025

This notice is for informational purposes only. This notice advises that the 31st Contracting Squadron, Aviano AFB, Italy, intends to award a sole source acquisition, under FAR Part 13.501(a), to procure maintenance services and facilities to maintain 2 FM radio transmission systems for American Forces Network Aviano.

Due to regulatory agreements with the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, Department of Communications Regional Field Office Friuli Venezia Giulia, AFN Aviano is required to broadcast within approved transmission parameters so as not to interfere with Italian commercial broadcasters. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
