REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) Air Data Processor (ADP) 6610-01-432-8459FX *Download the attachment for further information and instructions The Government is conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess the repair data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet qualification requirements for repair of the F-15 Air Data Processor, NSN:
6610-01-432-8459FX, P/N: 2118952-5. The level of security clearance in this requirement has not been determined. The Repair Method Code (RMC) /Repair Method Suffix Code (RMC/RMSC) for these items is R3/C; where RMC/R3 is repair, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer and RMSC/C signifies that this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part by the approved source.
The approved source retains repair knowledge, or technical data, that is not readily available to the Government. The data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. The Government does not own or have access to the data for these items. The ADP monitors the flow of air pressure and adjusts the ramps as necessary.
The ADP was developed to improve the accuracy and reliability for the Air Data Computer and Electronic Air Inlet Controller (EAIC) and functions by providing more accurate sensors and allowing expanded and selectable Source Error Corrections (SEC). The Government did not provision for a competitive acquisition package including the full repair technical data or acquisition of any test equipment that would be required to perform organic repairs.
The ADP is a military-unique item that must be manufactured to the Honeywell drawing specification, PS68-870192 Rev B, Drawing 2118952 Rev C. The drawing specification, PS68-870192 Rev B, Drawing 2118952 Rev C, contains extremely stringent design requirements and must meet exact form, fit, function and interface requirements for effective F-15 mission accomplishment. Therefore, a commercial item will not satisfy the unique requirements of this acquisition.
Contractor shall furnish all material, support equipment, tools, test equipment, and services. The contractor is responsible for providing, maintaining, and calibrating all test equipment required for repair. Contractor furnished material or parts used for replacement shall equal or exceed the quality of the original material or parts.

Although “proposal” and “offeror” are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only.
It shall not be used as a proposal. This solicitation is issued for the purpose of conducting market research to identify potential sources that possess manufacturing data, expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the Parts Kit, Electronic.
