Vehicle Search Tent Single Source Letter of Intent

The 5th Contracting Squadron (5 CONS) in Minot Air Force Base, ND, intends to award a single source purchase order to provide maintenance and repair services for the Vehicle Search Tent located in the Minot South Gate. There is currently only one Vendor capable of providing this service.

Since there are no other Vendors that own the proprietary systems needed for this requirement and their repairs would void the current manufacturer's warranty, 5 CONS intends to award a single source purchase order the Vendor that can fulfill this requirement. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) & 13.106-1(b).

The anticipated award date is after 12 September 2024. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide a Contract for the repair of the Vehicle Search Tent located at the South Gate. The deadline date for the submittals is 12 September 2024 at 11 am Central Standard Time.

A determination by the government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
