Barge YC-1580 Repair and Overhaul Portsmouth Naval Shipyard

Per FAR 5.201(b)(1)(ii) the contracting officer must transmit a notice to the GPE for each proposed contract modification to an existing contract for additional supplies or servicers that meets the posting threshold in 5.101(a)(1). The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Contracting Office is executing a bilateral contract modification to Contract N3904024C0042 which was awarded on August 30, 2024 to ROCKLAND MARINE CORP (0YKM1) for the overhaul of a barge at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Kittery, ME.

The purpose of this modification is to add additional funding for additional repairs. This contract modification is considered within scope of the contract as the funding being added is within the scope of work and intent of the original awarded contract. The nature of the services are not changed with this contract modification.
