Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source - BAS Upgrade

The U.S. Department of State intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to:

Boland Trane Services Inc. 30 West Watkins Mill Road Gaithersburg, MD 20878 UEI: HYMHV1A4KKV4 The proposed requirement is to upgrade an existing Building Automation System (BAS) manufactured by Boland Trane. The estimated value is approximately $685,000. This requirement will not include options. These services require that the contractor upgrade the existing Boland building automation system, including control panels, graphics, and automation software.

The anticipated award date is approximately 9/30/2025, with completion anticipated within 6 months of award. This is not a request for proposal. This notice is a notice of intent to sole source only. Award is anticipated utilizing FAR part 12 and 13.5, and under FAR 13, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Products and Commercial Services. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement by the notice closing date. A copy of the requirement may be requested via email to the Contracting Officer listed below.
