The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) will be hosting an industry day for its upcoming AEGIS Ship Integration and Testing (SI&T) requirement on Tuesday, the 20th of February 2024. Industry Day will consist of an overview of the AEGIS SI&T requirements, discussion on the planned contract type, CLINs, procurement history, and provide for a question and answer period.

Additionally, attendees will be afforded the opportunity to have one-on-one breakout meetings with the requiring activity and SEA 02. The information provided is for planning purposes and is subject to change.

The anticipated AEGIS SI&T requirements include SI&T engineering and technical efforts required to deliver fully integrated AEGIS combat systems in support of DDG 51 class new ship construction and allied navy ships under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, fleet modernization programs for AEGIS ships, AEGIS land-based tactical sites, and Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) capability upgrades.

AEGIS SI&T supports the management of the physical design, installation, test, and maintenance from concept development throughout a ship’s lifecycle of warfare systems to build and maintain combat ready ships and land-based tactical sites. These efforts focus on the interface and ship design, equipment installation and planning, industrial level testing, and qualification of the combat system during construction, extended availabilities, and sea trials.

Interested parties shall notify the Government of its intent to attend the industry day by 5:00pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Friday, 16 February 2024 via email to the points of contacts (thomas.j.kohler11.civ@us.navy.mil and michael.p.peduto2.civ@us.navy.mil).

The email shall specify: The names, titles, and email addresses for all planned attendees Whether your interest in this requirement is as a prime or subcontractor Information required to support access to the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) (CAGE code and DD 2345) Whether you would like your company name, cage code, and point of contact’s information shared with all other attendees. If yes, please specify at least one POC from your company.

Optional: Any initial questions/feedback you have or anything you would like addressed during the industry day for the Government to consider in advance of industry day To support industry day and the one-on-ones, NAVSEA will provide CUI material to interested parties eligible to receive CUI. To be considered eligible to receive CUI, the contractor shall provide evidence of an approved DD 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, and their firm has an active registration in sam.gov.
