OUTREACH UPCOMING PROCUREMENT ROAD MAINTENANCE PROJECT Periodic Maintenance Works of Narayanghat-Mugling Road Section First Date of Publication: 14 May 2026 The Millennium Challenge Account Nepal (MCA-Nepal) is a Government of Nepal (GoN) agency, formed under the Development Board Act 2013 BS (1956 AD) in order to manage a USD 747 million infrastructure program.

The program is co-funded by the U.S. Government’s Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) Compact grant of USD 550 million and the GoN’s contribution of USD 197 million. The program aims to increase the availability and reliability of electricity, maintain road quality and facilitate power trade between Nepal and the region to help spur investments and accelerate economic growth. The Electricity Transmission Project, a national pride project, and the Road Maintenance Project are two projects under the program.

MCA-Nepal, which oversees and manages the projects funded by the Compact, intends to organize an Outreach in Kathmandu with Roads Construction Firms Representatives and other interested parties to inform them of the upcoming Procurement for the “Periodic Maintenance of Narayanghat-Mugling Road Section” and share available updated procurement information, as applicable.

The Outreach will be held on 29 May 2026. Interested Construction Firms representatives and other interested Parties who wish to register and attend the outreach event are requested to send an E-mail to:
