INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO MONACO ENTERPRISES INC.

This requirement is for the acquisition of Monaco Enterprises Inc. equipment and installation to upgrade the Monaco Enterprises Inc. Fire Alerting System D-21 to restore communication between Fire Station 1(1434) and 2 (building 110) of Aviano Air Base, Italy. The reason for needing Monaco Enterprises Inc. equipment specifically is because the current equipment installed in the Emergency Communications Center is Monaco Enterprises Inc and the two sites need to communicate through the same system.

This would allow the fire department to have mission critical consent communication on and off all emergencies and everyday operations. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
