Notice of Intent - Technology Upgrade for Fire Alarm Systems

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Monaco Enterprises Inc., (CAGE Code: 32609 to meet the Government’s requirement to upgrade existing fire alarm and mass notification systems to include new hardware, software, and training. The authority found at 10 U.S.C.

3204(a)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements, utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures, 41 U.S.C 1901 allows for this requirement to be met directly from Monaco Enterprises Inc. On 19 May 2023, a memorandum was issued by Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) to standardize fire alarm panels and the respective systems. The memorandum dictates the specific manufacturer per installation. Arnold AFB's approved manufacturer is Monaco Enterprises, Inc.
