Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Oceaneering International, Inc.

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regular (FAR) 5.101. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The statutory authority for this notice is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) set forth in FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

Supervisor of Shipbuilding Overhaul & Repair, Groton, CT (SSGR) intends to award a firm fixed price contract to Oceaneering International, Inc., 2155 Steppingstone Square, Chesapeake, VA 23320 USA, to Weld Missile Tube Switch Brackets on Missile Tube #6 and #7. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement clearly demonstrating the ability to manufacture the requested supply, before 5:00PM EST 5JULY24, which may be considered by the Agency.

Responses to this notice shall be submitted to Stephanie Neale at Stephanie.L.Neale.civ@us.navy.mil and Kyle Berg at Kyle.R.Berg3.civ@us.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This special notice is being issued for informational purposes only. The Justification & Approval for sole source is attached.
