THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR MARKET RESEARCH AND INFORMATION ONLY – THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) OR PROPOSAL (RFP). NO AWARD WILL BE MADE RESULTING FROM THIS NOTICE Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) is seeking multiple businesses willing to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for services under North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS)

562111: Solid Waste Collection. The small business size standard for this industry is $47 million. The Contractor(s) shall provide waste disposal bins, transport, and disposal of solid waste at various locations within the SNR services territory as described in the draft scope of work attached. The Contractor must be located within the geographic area of the Sierra Nevada Region. BPAs will be evaluated annually and may remain in place for up to five years.

When establishing these BPAs the Government will consider: Price; Socio-economic status; past performance, where past performance information exists; and technical capabilities. As prescribed in FAR 52.204-7, interested parties must be registered and current in the System for Award Management (SAM), representations and certifications must also be on record. These registrations can be done through the System for Award Management (SAM) for free at http://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.

SAM registration must be complete prior to entering into a BPA. Any interested party may contact Contract Specialist via email at hrcooper@wapa.gov. Any correspondence relating to this synopsis should have “WAPA SNR SOLID WASTE BPA" notated in the subject field and shall be emailed to the contract specialist and include the following:

Unique Entity ID (UEI) CAGE Code Tax ID Number POC’s name, physical address, email address, and telephone number Website address (if applicable) Small business size, socioeconomic categories, and type of ownership for the organization This notice does not obligate the Government to solicit for this requirement or award a contract and does not obligate the Government to reimburse interested parties for any costs incurred to prepare or provide a response to this request for information.
