COTTONWOOD SECTION G CONTROL BUILDING

Request for Information (For Market Research Purposes Only) Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability of small business firms and other than small business firms that have the capability of the performing work for WAPA SNR’s Cottonwood Control Building located in Cottonwood, CA. The principal components of work includes:

Design, manufacture, transport, install, test and complete the Cottonwood Control Building. The Cottonwood Control Building shall be designed for adverse weather conditions and moderate seismic geological conditions. Work is described further in the provided draft Project Specifications. Interested parties having the skills and capabilities of performing the requirement are encouraged to provide feedback via email to Malissa Knapp at knapp@wapa.gov by the close date. Phone calls will not be accepted. Please provide your response to the following:

1) Offeror's name, UEI #, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address.

2) Offeror's Business Size and type of Small Business if applicable (Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and/or 8(a)).

3) Provide past performance experience your company has with design and manufacture of control buildings and the work provided in the Project Specifications.

4) Please state whether your company would perform the work as a prime or subcontractor. This request is for market research purposes only and we are NOT seeking quotes at this time - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bid (IFB). No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this RFI or any follow-up information requests.
