SPO Mapboard Replacement

Request for Information (For Market Research Purposes Only) Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) to determine the availability of small business firms and other than small business firms that have the capability of the performing work for WAPA SNR’s SPO Mapboard Replacement Project due to the current screens reaching their end of life.

Works includes the removal of existing screens and video wall structure, and the installation of a new video wall structure and screens that work with the existing video wall controller within the Region’s dispatch center. Work is described further in the provided draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). This request is for market research purposes only and we are NOT seeking quotes at this time - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation for Bid (IFB).

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information to this RFI or any follow-up information requests. Interested parties having the skills and capabilities of performing the requirement are encouraged to provide feedback via email to Jolene Daoud at Daoud@WAPA.GOV by the close date. 1) Offeror's name, UEI #, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address.

2) Offeror's Business Size and type of Small Business if applicable (Small Business, Woman-Owned Small Business, HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned and/or 8(a)).

3) Provide examples and references of what experience your company has fabricating, installing, and commissioning Mapboard installations for major utilities.

4) What suppliers do you prefer? What equipment have you installed on past projects?

5) Please state whether your company would perform the work as a prime or subcontractor.
