Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Reinhausen Manufacturing

The Department of Energy (DOE), Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Rocky Mountain Region (RMR), intends to acquire on a Sole Source basis maintenance and repair services on six (6) Reinhausen On Load Tap Changers, located at Shiprock Substation from Reinhausen Manufacturing Inc., 2549 North 9th Avenue, Humboldt, TN 38343. (A copy of the Single Source Justification is attached to this notice.)

The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS/QUOTES. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. Capability statements must be received NO LATER THAN 3:00 p.m. (EDT) on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, and shall include documentation on offeror’s ability to satisfy the Government’s requirements.
