Analysis and Reporting on Global Energy Events

The Energy Security Division (ESD) has a critical, core mission requirement for analysis and reporting on global energy events and conditions affecting U.S. energy security interests. This analysis and reporting on Iraq Oil will provide DOE with information that is essential to timely, accurate, and comprehensive reporting on energy events and developments affecting Iraq and its oil market, consistent areas of interest for DOE’s and ESD’s stakeholders. Furthermore, in-country subject matter experts will provide DOE and ESD with consistent, reliable information on what is occurring in Iraq specific to its oil market and reserves and potential factors impacting the global oil market.
