Department of Energy IT Resource Enhancements and Cybersecurity Transformation (DIRECT)

The purpose of this notice is to communicate the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) intent to release a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Department of Energy IT Resource Enhancements and Cybersecurity Transformation (DIRECT) new requirement in support of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE), the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), the Office of Science (SC), and other DOE program offices as needed.

This requirement is a total (100%) small business set-aside to contractors under the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). The forthcoming RFQ will acquire innovative solutions that will focus on task areas such as IT Transformation and Business Processes, Emergency Services, Artificial Intelligence, Classified Services, Records Management Tools and Systems, and Budget and Portfolio Management.

DOE anticipates awarding a multiple-award BPA in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-3 under the GSA MAS. Please continue to monitor GSA eBuy for the official RFQ posting. DOE anticipates posting the solicitation soon. Interested small business parties must respond on GSA eBuy. The RFQ will not be posted on SAM.gov.
