Sole Source Operation and Maintenance of Kastle Security System at Henderson Hall

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisitions Procedures to procure Security Systems Services, Operations & Maintenance for Buildings 12, 21, 27, 28, and 29 at Henderson Hall in Arlington Virginia.

The Government intends to award a sole source contract for the above Security Systems to the firm of Kastle Systems LLC, 602 Arlington Blvd, Falls Church, VA 22042. The proposed contract action is for Security Systems Services, Operations & Maintenance for which the Government intends to solicit only one source. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements.

DURATION: The contract is for a base year period of twelve months, with two twelve-month option periods. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
