Intent to Sole Source - Local Telecommunication Service

The 145th Airlift Wing Contracting office intends to award a sole source bridge contract to AT&T to avoid an interruption in telecommunication service for the installation until the follow-on long term contract can be competed, awarded and new equipment installed. There will be no written solicitation issued. This is an intent to purchase a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Soliciting from a single source.

This will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon resonse to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
