Specialized Solutions Software Maintenance - Sole Source Notice of Intent

The Defense Information Systems Agency/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Specialized Solutions, Inc. (SSI). A sole source Justification & Approval document is being coordinated and, upon approval, a copy of it will be posted here on SAM.gov to comply with the public display requirements of FAR 6.305. The proposed contract action is for the renewal software for SSI Tables Application System-Management System (AS-MS) w/IBM Database 2 (DB2).

Tables/AS reduces the work effort needed to design and maintain screens required for table maintenance in Customer Information Control System (CICS) and Information Management System (IMS) environments. At this time, the incumbent contractor, Specialized Solutions, Inc., is the only source capable of providing all necessary services to provide the software maintenance and support for Specilized Solutions Software SSI Tables AS/MS/ w/DB2.
