Statement of Work & Requirements - Elemental Melt Stock Introduction: This procurement is for a supply of elemental melt stock to be used in making master alloys for our planar-flow melt spin facility. Therefore, we are looking elemental materials equal to or exceeding the purity requirements and in a form/size as described below.

Statement of Work: A certificate of chemical analysis will be supplied with each element Item 1.) Boron (elemental) / in the form of pieces or chunks (nominally 5-15 mm in size) / Purity 99.9% Quantity required: 3 kg. Item 2.) Cobalt (metal) / in the form of rectangular pieces (4mm x 50mm x 50mm) or other shapes of roughly equivalent volume / Purity 99.95% Quantity required: 20 kg. Item 3.) Shipping and handling for items 1-2 To NASA GRC provide in the quote.
