The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to INTERNATIONAL SOS GOVERNMENT SERVICES INC., to obtain International Site Securiity Services software for the Public Health Informatics Office (PHIO) Office of Safety, Security, and Asset Management (OSSAM), Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO). International SOS will provide CDC analysts with up-to-date travel security and health information through a password-protected Internet website.

CDC analysts can access International SOS Country Guides containing travel risk information for countries, regions and cities throughout the world. These guides provide extensive information about threats to travelers, as well as information to help travelers prepare for their trips.

The International SOS Country Guides contain travel risk information and advice on 334 cities and over 200 countries, as well as details on the risks that can disrupt travel or threaten personal safety, such as crime, insurgency and terrorism. Within these reports are specifics on [potential threats] along with reports and analysis on the direct and indirect implications of an event and actionable advice to stay safe.

This contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP) and 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within (2) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at Qrz9@cdc.gov by 12:00 pm 30 April, 2024.
