National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA Ames Research Center. Computer Facilities Management Services.
Awarded
$0.00 obligated so far on USAspending
Description
As published on SAM.gov.
NASA/Ames Research Center (ARC) has a requirement for advanced computing services that provides support for the NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) Division at ARC, the NASA Center for Climate Simulation (NCCS) at Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), other NASA Centers and Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as required by the Government. NASA/ARC intends to issue a sole source extension to acquire services from InuTeq, LLC. NASA/ARC intends to extend the current contract’s effective ordering period by up to 24 months.
The extension will allow continued performance and continuation of mission critical services under this contract through June 30, 2030 by which time the follow-on, competitive contract is expected to be awarded. This is a hybrid Cost-Plus-Award-Fee (CPAF)/Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Single-Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, 80ARC018D0010.
The rationale supporting this sole source award to InuTeq, LLC is in accordance with 10 U.S.C 3204(a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements”.
The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial product or commercial service using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort electronically via email to Tina Jenkins, tina.jenkins@nasa.gov not later than 5:00PM EST on May 14, 2025. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct this acquisition on a competitive basis.
A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. NASA Clause 1852.215-84, Ombudsman, is applicable.
