Description

As published on SAM.gov.

Requirements The laboratory requires a digital droplet PCR (ddPCR) platform capable of absolute nucleic acid quantification with high sensitivity and multiplex capability. The quoted system provides up to six-color multiplex detection, processes up to 96 samples per run, and performs absolute nucleic acid quantification Type of Order:

Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order Special Order Requirements: The instrument shall: Perform digital droplet PCR using partitioned droplet technology. Partition each 20 ?L reaction into approximately 20,000 droplets. Support six-color fluorescence detection. Process 96-well plates. Provide absolute nucleic acid quantification without reliance on standard curves.

Support applications including: mutation detection copy number variation gene expression viral titer analysis Include software capable of automated thresholding, Poisson analysis, multiplex analysis, and export of results. Include all required computer hardware and system software. Include a compatible thermal cycler capable of operating 96-well deepwell PCR plates. These specifications are consistent with the manufacturer's published technical specifications.

The contractor shall deliver the following equipment to the National Institutes of Health (NIH): One (1) Bio-Rad QX600 Droplet Digital PCR System One (1) Bio-Rad PTC Harmony Deepwell Thermal Cycler Training: Training is not included under this purchase. The contractor is not required to provide user training as part of this award.
