Number: 75N97024Q00049 Yubico Security Keys This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought/Request for Information (RFI) (market survey). This is NOT a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract.
Purpose of Sources Sought/Request for Information: The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Library of Medicine (NLM), Center for Information Technology (CIT) is requesting information from all qualified vendors to determine whether capability and interest exists for establishing a contract for Yubico Security Keys. This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information is intended to inform the NIH on the current status of industry sources that can provide a Proposal. Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible.
Requirement Description: The Government seeks to procure 600 Yubico 5C Near Field Communication (NFC) Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) compliant Yubikeys for staff at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) who do not have a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) card. For security purposes, the shipping for these Yubikeys requires outbound serialized asset tracking. The vendor must also create and maintain a customer portal used to facilitate the Yubikey ordering process and manage Yubikey inventory. The Government seeks an award of base plus 4 option years, which includes any applicable annual service fees and portal maintenance.

Respondents should not submit any proprietary information when responding to this Sources Sought. The information provided is for market research purposes pursuant to FAR Part 10 Market Research. Information provided will be used at the government’s discretion to finalize the acquisition strategy in fulfilling the need through an upcoming solicitation.
