Preventive Maintenance and Service Package for the Mediso nanoScan PET/CT animal imager.

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NON-COMPETITIVE (NOTICE OF INTENT) SYNOPSIS TO AWARD A CONTRACT WITHOUT PROVIDING FOR FULL OR OPEN COMPETITION (INCLUDING BRAND-NAME).

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), NIDA Section, Contracts Management Branch Green intends to negotiate and award a purchase order without providing for full and open competition to Mediso USA, LLC. The purpose of this acquisition will be to provide the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) with maintenance and repair services for the Mediso nanoScan PET/CT animal imager (serial number NJ- 708031-PC) to perform imaging study on preclinical models. The animal imager is currently in use by the Neuroimaging Research Branch, National Institute on Drug Abuse – Intramural Research Program.
