Freezer, Refrigerator, Balances and Incubator Preventative Maintenance Services

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is an open market requirement. It is the intent of the Government to issue a fixed price, requirements type contract. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ).

The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2024-02. This acquisition will be made pursuant to the authority of FAR 13 to use simplified acquisition procedures for commercial requirements. This solicitation is set-aside for Total Small Business. The National Institutes of Health, Clinical Center, Department of Laboratory Medicine (DLM), The Microbiology and Hematology Services has a requirement for a contractor to supply all labor, travel, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary to perform freezers, refrigerators, balances, and incubator preventative maintenance and calibration services.
