CSU Blood, Blood Products, and Immunohematological Services

The contractor is Vitalant for Blood, Blood Products, and Immunohematological Testing Services. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. The Indian Health Service intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Vitalant, 9305 E Via De Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85258 for the period 06/01/2025 – 05/31/2026 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.

This will allow for uninterrupted blood supply and testing services in support of direct patient care while a long term contract is processed for the Crow/Northern Cheyenne Indian Health Service Laboratory Department, Crow Agency, Montana. This synopsis does not constitute a solicitation and no solicitation package is available, however, prospective vendors may submit a statement of capabilities in response to this notice.

The statement of capabilities must be in writing and contain clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. Any parties choosing to respond, all associated costs incurred with the preparation and submission of your response to this announcement are the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
