The Division of Applied Regulatory Science (DARS), within OCP/OTS/CDER, is conducting a research program focused on evaluating complex in vitro models for regulatory science. These supplies include reagents, media, consumables, and specialized tools required for maintaining and characterizing advanced cell-based models, such as those derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). These resources enable the development of physiologically relevant microenvironments that more accurately replicate in vivo conditions compared to traditional cell culture systems. The materials are used across multiple research areas and directly support projects evaluating drug safety and efficacy.
