Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source Contract

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Community Ant-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA) for to deliver training to grant recipients and youth leaders working in youth substance abuse and prevention. CADCA is partnered with the Drug Free Communities Program (DFC) and exempt from competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute; Public Law 110-5 (Section 21074).

This contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP). See note below This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within 15 days of the issuance of this notice shall be considered by the government.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Any quotation/response should be emailed to contract specialist at xvv9@cdc.gov by 8 August 2024/2:00 PM CST.
