Notice of Intent to Sole Source | Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information Security (OIS) Leadership Summit

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (DBA: Hilton Arlington), 950 North Stafford Street, Arlington, VA 22203 for the procurement of conference space and audio/visual services required to be performed November 18, 2024 – November 22, 2024. The Office of Information Security (OIS) has a need for conference room space and audio/visual equipment for OIS to host its annual Leadership Summit for an estimated 90 Federal employees.

This entails providing suitable conference facilities equipped with audiovisual amenities and accommodations for attendees. The services include providing one (1) large conference room that can accommodate and seat 90 federal employees, three (3) breakout rooms that can accommodate 30 federal employees. This proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106 and 13.501.

This is a "Notice of Intent" and not a request for competitive proposals or quotes. Interested parties that feel they can provide the services may respond to the point of contact listed in this notice with a capability statement no later than 10:00AM ET on October 17, 2024. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government.
