General Development Advisor

The General Development Advisor will be responsible for leading USAID/Djibouti initiatives, which includes supervisory oversight of three Cooperating Country National staff (Finance Specialist, Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, and the Development and Outreach Coordinator.) The position provides analytical support and advises the USAID/Djibouti team on policy and programmatic opportunities and approaches.

The General Development Advisor will be expected to show strong independent initiative and work with minimal supervision. Incumbent reports directly to the USAID/Djibouti Country Representative. The incumbent will support a multi-year development program worth $50 million.
