SPECIAL NOTICE: The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), United State Coast Guard (USCG), Operational Logistics Command (LOG-94) is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government’s intent to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract IAW Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 procedures The intended Contractor: Massachusetts Maritime Academy, 101 Academy Dr, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532 United States USCG LOG-94 requires: PSU 301 ADT-AT Berthing JUNE 2026 per scope of work (SOW) The contract period of performance is 06/05/2026 – 06/20/2026 This procurement is being conducted using commercial items and services procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12, specifically FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), allowing the Contracting Officer (KO) to solicit from one source.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 721110 HOTELS (EXCEPT CASINO HOTELS) AND MOTELS. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this procurement is V231 TRANSPORTATION/TRAVEL/RELOCATION- TRAVEL/LODGING/RECRUITMENT: LODGING, HOTEL/MOTEL. The procurement type will be a firm-fixed price. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES/PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE. Telephone requests for information or questions will not be honored.

No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this notice is for informational purposes only. A determination by the Government not to complete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
