The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) Surface Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) Medium Endurance Cutter Product Line (MECPL) is seeking qualified sources to inspect, test, and overhaul or renew a Welin Lambie TW.PIV 5.0B Dual Point Davit onboard 210’ and 270’ class cutters at varying locations. The SLFC intends to overhaul/renew various quantities of davits per year by issuing task orders and will provide overhaul kits, A condition TW.PIV 5.0B davits as Government Furnished Equipment/Property for the 210’A, 210’B and 270 WMEC for renewals or overhauls. The period of performance will be for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. All responses must include:

• A positive statement of your intention to submit a bid for a solicitation for this requirement as a prime contractor • Evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope (ie: contract numbers, dollar amounts, periods of performance) • Confirm ability to store then ship a Government Furnished davit from Contractor facility to the designated place of performance, and to ship the removed davit to the Coast Guard Warehouse.

Inquiries/information received after the established deadline may be considered for this notice. The Government shall not pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this notice or for the information provided. At this time, the USCG does NOT have an estimated time frame for the release of solicitation, and this is NOT a request for quotations/proposals.
