NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Project Title: SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE FOR ATON MANAGEMENT USCG D17, JUNEAU ALASKA The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price award for subscription service of AIS ATON Management System to Marine Exchange of Alaska, Inc, 1050 Harbor Way, Juneau, AK 99801- 1542, DUNS 118708283 a non-profit corporation. The total estimated value is estimated at $160,000.00.

The proposed procurement is for service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, where delay of award would result in serious injury to the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
