JUSTIFICATION POSTING

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) hereby posts justification for award of a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to ALS Services. The total estimated value is less than the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. This sole source contracting action is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(2)(b) (Urgency) and 6.303-2 modified to reflect procedures in 13.5 in accordance with 10 U.S.C.

3205 This justification is prepared using the format at FAR 6.303-2, modified to reflect that the procedures in FAR subpart 13.5 in accordance with 10 U.S.C. 3205. See attached Justification For Other Than Full and Open Competition (JOTFOC). The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this posting. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
