ABYC MARINE SYSTEMS AND MARINE CORROSION COURSE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order for: ABYC Certification Course- Onsite Marine Systems and Marine Corrosion Company Name: AMERICAN BOAT & YACHT COUNCIL INC It is the belief of the government that American Boat and Yacht Council INC. is the only contractor that can provide these courses. (See attached justification [JOTFOC]) and SOW The total estimated value is less than $ 37,000.00.

This sole source contracting action is in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(a)(1)(iii) and 6.303-2 modified to reflect procedures in 13.5 (a)(i). Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission objectives. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government.

Information received will be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation for future requirements regarding these courses. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
